Sources say that the allocation of plot number GH-04 for Supertech Emerald Court Group Housing Project and the case of approval of the map is from 2004 to 2012. Supertech was allotted more than six thousand square meters of land in the second time for the construction of both the towers. Under the guise of this allotment, the builder had illegally occupied an undeveloped green belt of the Horticulture Department. While the CCD department should have been given the boundary wall of the undeveloped green belt to the Horticulture Department as per the rules, but the builder was given the benefit of seven thousand square meters more land in connivance. The gate made for the entrance of both the towers is on this ground.
Didn’t care after the map was approved
The Authority also approved the map in 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2012 on the plot allotted to Supertech. While approving the map, not even once did the planning department make any effort to get the undeveloped green belt land out of the purview of the allotted land to the builder. In the year 2014, both the towers were stayed by the High Court, but the possession of the land was retained by Supertech.
